Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Unsulphured Dried Blenheim Apricots 16 oz bags
Our unsulphured Blenheim apricots are organically grown and dried naturally in the sun.
They are cut in half and dried for 8-10 days, then washed, and dried again.
This year's unsulphured are the best we've ever done....magnificently rich in color and flavor.
They need to be refrigerated. They will hold in the freezer for over a year.
They are very dry......but you can add some water and moisten them right on up.

Flavor not as tart as I like and am accustomed to
Posted by Nancy K. Hinchey on Jul 7th 2019
I have eaten Blenheim apricots for fifty years or so, dried and unsulphured, and have always loved them. I used to get them through a food coop in western Massachusetts, and for the last fifteen years from Trader Joes in Hanover, Mass. Recently Trader Joes said there would be no more until the seasonal shortage was over, in the fall. I hated to be without them, because every morning I flavor my plain oatmeal and quinoa with them. So I went online and found Apricot King.
I am happy to have the apricots, but I find the flavor quite different. Yours are blander and a bit too sweet in flavor. I miss the tartness and sharp flavor of the ones fromTrader Joe's. Yours are perhaps dried for a shorter time, thus making the flavor less intense.
I don't know where they get their unsulphured, but we swear those are NOT a Blenheim. Not the same texture, flavor, shape, and not the real deal. Although they label says Blenheim Apricots, the CotKing and I know those are absolutely not Blenheims.
