About ApricotKing

Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts.  Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Enjoy!

Patti and Gary Gonzales, Hollister, CA

Large Bartlett Pears

These dried Bartlett pears are absolutely stellar...unlike anything you've ever tasted.

They are soft, moist, grainy, packed with concentrated sugar and simply melt in your mouth.

They have become our latest addiction.

Keep refrigerated. There is more fiber in pears than there are in prunes.

Four- a -day is your limit.

 Available in bulk too.

    Mmmm....

  2. I can't stop eating them

Posted by Unknown on Jul 29th 2021

They are amazing and it is hard to keep from eating them all at once. Amazing flavor and texture. Favorite ways to enjoy them are with gruyere cheese or creme fraiche. Sometimes I make a little ramekin with coconut sliced pears and macadamia nuts as a breakfast dessert.

  3. Always a treat!

These are succulent, candy-like pears. The flavor is incredible! The texture is perfect. I highly recommend these pears!

Succulent flavor-bombs —with texture to satisfy need for chew and need for fresh.
To the last bite leaves you satisfied.

  7. Best dried pears I've found...

Posted by Gene on Feb 11th 2021

These pears are delicious, not fibery but has a smooth texture. Very tasty! I tend to order 2-3 packs of these at a time since they go so quickly.

  8. incredible

These pears are so delicious! They have a complex fragrance, and are soft and tasty. TBH I don't particularly care for fresh pears, so I was surprised how much I like these dried ones.

  9. Eat them, share them and bake with them. Good All ways

  10. Ambrosia

Posted by Marla on Jan 2nd 2021

I bought my first bag of pears for a recipe but then did not use them, forgot them, then opened them to try for a snack and WOW! They are AMAZING. So amazing that I ordered them, plus other fruit and nuts, to my parents for xmas! My mom (87) and dad (96) loved them! She wrote: Whoo eeeee, these dried fruits are a smashing success!  Right now I'm chewing a prune with a pecan, and it's ambrosia.  I've left them out on "Paul's counter"  usually full of cookies, and he's devouring them.  So we'd like to buy more.  Are they sold in Texas? (I gave her the website!)
