Ours are machine cut, paper-thin, and delicate...even though they're the most labor intensive to produce.

Sweet Slabs
My husband comes from a long line of Apricot Rancher in the San Jose area. He absolutely love the slabs we get from Patti and Gary. Next best thing to the ones he had growing up!

Apricot perfection
My grandmother (Croatian) used to help grow, cut and dry Blenheims in Mountain View generations ago, so I grew up eating fresh Blenheims, along with dried apricots and fresh apricot jam. These "slab" apricots bring back all those memories--they have a wonderful aroma, are sweet, moist and so delicious. Thank you, thank you, thank you for still growing these apricots so others can enjoy them--you are really doing a rare, special work in the world of farming, helping to keep this variety alive.

We Want All the Slabs
I hesitate to rave about these slabs because I don't want them to run out. They are soft and chewy and sweet and tart like only real apricots can be. The best I've ever eaten and we just keep ordering more.

Slabs--slabs--slabs.
I hate to tell everyone that slabs are still the best because by doing so-- it gets harder to buy them due to shortages and of course the price goes up. So take my advice and DO NOT buy slabs--try other versions of the dried apricots--you'll be happy.

Unbelievably Fabulous!
