"Which apricots are the sweetest?"

The answer to the question:

SLABS...ALWAYS SLABS....

Slabs have the highest sugar content of all the apricots because they're longer on the tree...picked when they're soft and overripe.

Ours are machine cut, paper-thin, and delicate...even though they're the most labor intensive to produce.

These cots are separated from the rest of the pack by their unique color and flat-ness.

Blenheim slabs are the ultimate #1 choice of apricot aficionados everywhere!

Low in sulphur, so eat them, or refrigerate.

    Bad News...Fantastic News

Posted by Marie - San Jose on Jan 10th 2021

I frequented Olsen's Farms for superior died apricots. When they closed their doors i 2019 I was truly sad as I thought I would never find apricots like hose. I was telling a friend recently about my disappointment. (This is where the fantastic news comes in) She shared her finding in Apricot King. I immediately went on-line and ordered over $200 in products and my cots arrived within 3 days! Simply stated these apricots are PHENOMINAL! Better than I could have ever expected and truly coveted. (Here is where the bad news comes in) My only regret is not having found AK sooner... L I F E C H A N G I N G!!!

    Apricot lovers take heed

Posted by Unknown on Jan 9th 2021

When I lived in the Bay Area, I used to eagerly anticipate the brief availability of fresh apricots from Apricot King each summer. Now, I must content myself with the Blenheim slab apricots, which are the next best thing. The apricot jam is sublime, too.

This review is for all products. I Love to support a family owned business provided the products are great. Your products are Always fresh and better than any other comparable products. I have always received top quality products that are hard to find. The handwritten notes are the icing on the apricot cake. A touch like this is greatly appreciated, because it comes from the heart. I will continue to support you and enjoy the healthy, great tasting products you provide. Why aren't more things in California as good as you and your products!

We really love these cots! The hardest part is not eating them all so fast. I would give them to anyone as a gift.

    Long Live the King

Posted by Luanne on Dec 16th 2020

Apricots have been part of my life since I was a kid. My mom’s sisters in NM each had a tree or two & the fruit was yummy. I’ve found no dried apricot even approaching AK’s slabs. They. Are. Different. And exponentially better than the bland Mediterranean species. Great with farmer’s cheese.
