Blenheim Cot Life-Long Lover
I grew up in Watsonville just over the Coastal Range from Hollister and had the great fortune to work in a "cot" shed slicing the cots and placing them on the drying tray when I was 9 & 10. That was my intro to Blenheim apricots and the beginning of a life-long love affair w/ dried Blenheims. I may have eaten more than I cut. The ranch on which I worked is long gone, so you can imagine my delight in discovering the Apricot King. My first 2 purchases were on trips to the ranch where I came back with 10 lbs. each time. They freeze beautifully. I no longer have to make the 1 1/2 hour drive to the ranch because they serve the Moraga Farmers' Market, so I've traded that for a 1 hour bike ride. In addition to keeping a supply in my freezer I've also started sending them as gifts which is a seamless process with shipping costs less than doing it myself. I also love the responses I receive from recipients who are getting their first taste of a perfectly dried California Blenheim cot. Rapturous!!

Bursting with flavor!!
If you taste test one of these side by side with a store bought dried apricot, there's no denying how much more flavorful the ApricotKing ones are. I'll be using this dipped in tempered dark chocolate as holiday gifts and early results have been fantastic. Worth the extra cost for the quality!
