Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! "Which apricots are the sweetest?"

SLABS...ALWAYS SLABS....
Slabs have the highest sugar content of all the apricots because they're longer on the tree...picked when they're soft and overripe.
Ours are machine cut, paper-thin, and delicate...even though they're the most labor intensive to produce.
These cots are separated from the rest of the pack by their unique color and flat-ness.
Blenheim slabs are the ultimate #1 choice of apricot aficionados everywhere!

I grew up sitting in apricot trees, stuffing the sweetest, ripest ones in my mouth. Everything since then has been a disappointment. Except Apricot King's slab dried apricots. That's what a real apricot tastes like.

These apricots made a beautiful and delicious addition to my charcuterie board. For a dried apricot, these are bursting with bright tartness and a silky, chewy texture that paired perfectly with a variety of cheeses.

I placed an order after reading Ruth Reichl's story in Town & Country about Blenheim apricots and ApricotKing. I wanted to truly experience what great apricots taste like and I love the tradition that ApricotKing Orchards represents. I was not disappointed, the slabs were moist and so 'apricotty' I'll be a customer for a long time and look forward to sending ApricotKing gifts to friends

Along with SlipPits, these are the best dried apricots you can buy. The taste is rich, tart, and not too sweet. The texture is chewy but not dry. Compared to SlipPits, Simply Slabs are tarter, chewier, and not as visually attractive. These are for eating out of hand.
