Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! "Which apricots are the sweetest?"
The answer to the question:
SLABS...ALWAYS SLABS....
Slabs have the highest sugar content of all the apricots because they're longer on the tree...picked when they're soft and overripe.
Ours are machine cut, paper-thin, and delicate...even though they're the most labor intensive to produce.
These cots are separated from the rest of the pack by their unique color and flat-ness.
Blenheim slabs are the ultimate #1 choice of apricot aficionados everywhere!
Low in sulphur, so eat them, or refrigerate.

These are fantastic! I order these in bulk a couple times a year and LOVE them. Apricot King Orchards offers the best dried apricots I've ever tried--I've ordered many other brands online, and bought locally--and none compare to the flavor, complexity, and texture of these. I look forward to the new crop every year! They have a perfect balance of sweet and tart, and are delicious eaten by themselves, or chopped and mixed with homemade granola, and they make the best trail mix when mixed with high quality dark chocolate and nuts. Make great gifts for people you really like! :)

I have been ordering from Apricot King for quite some time. Years ago I could find the California apricots in the grocery stores, but no more. All I could find were the plump and overly sweet Turkish apricots. Not at all what I like. So you can imagine my pleasure at finding this excellent company. I have tried all the different apricots that are offered, but find that the Slabs are my favorite. You can't go wrong with any product from this wonderful company. Enjoy as we do!

These are the most delicious and sweet dried apricots I've ever had. We used to live in CA and get them from the Farmers' Market in Moraga. Now we are in OR, I order them online. Warning- don't eat half a bag by yourself......turns out too much of a good thing (tooo much fruit all at once)! :)
