Hardest to work on, hardest to clean, and hardest to keep in stock.
Pick the Fancy Blend Apricots......very overripe and excellent.
But slabs are sat a minimum right now.
Slabs have the highest sugar content of all the apricots because they're longer on the tree...picked when they're soft and overripe.
Ours are machine cut, paper-thin, and delicate...even though they're the most labor intensive to produce.
These cots are separated from the rest of the pack by their unique color and flat-ness.

Low in sulphur, so eat them, or refrigerate.

Slabs are the best
The slabs are the sweetest and best apricot flavor of all. This was the first time I ordered the slabs and am very satisfied. I thought I would freeze some for later but they were so good they were just snacked on and disappeared quickly.

Sweetest Apricots Ever!
Moist and sweet! So easy to use in pies, fresh as snacks, in trail mix or wherever cots are needed. Customer service is superb, as well. Our go-to place for apricots! The syrup is great on pancakes or ice cream.

Oh those wonderful slabs!
I buy a supply of Apricot King slabs every couple of years. I keep them in the freezer where they stay perfect until I want to use them--for baking or stewing or just out of hand eating. They are the best! Thank you

I am an apricot snob! I grew up in California at a time when apricot orchards seemed to be everywhere so I've been eating them all of my life. I discovered Apricot King decades ago and while I've tried other suppliers, they are simply not as good. The slab and leathers are my favorites!
