Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts.  Simply delicious! Spicy Apricot Chicken


  • 1 can (17 oz.) apricot halves
  • 2 tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 chicken (about 3 lbs.) cut into serving pieces with skin removed.
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • Water
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch


Drain apricots, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. In large skillet, heat oil. Brown chicken on all sides; drain off drippings. Sprinkle chicken with salt, cinnamon, and cloves. Add reserved syrup and 1/3 cup water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add apricots and simmer 10 minutes longer. Transfer chicken and apricots to serving dish. Blend cornstarch and 2 Tbsp. water; stir into sauce. Cook and stir 1 minute and pour over chicken.
