About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Unsulphured Blenheim Apricots Bulk 8 lbs
Ooohhh la la.
Our 2023 crop is exceptionally rich and dark in unsulphured Blenheims.
These apricots are organically grown and dried in the sun with NO preservatives.
As they sun-dry, they become black in color....deep, dark, complex, and delicious.
They are very dry......but adding some water will soften them right on up.
The higher the sugar content, the darker they become.
The connoisseurs are going to love these.
They need to be refrigerated. They will hold in the freezer for up to one year.
Don't complain that they're too dry......they have to be dry or they will mold.

Best quality BLENHEIM APRICOTS available. Reminds me of days when I lived in Europe and went to the market.

Maybe this is why I am so healthy at 70!

I seem to buy about 16 pounds of these unsulphured apricots per year. Many mornings cut up In oatmeal or in trail mix with raw organic nuts. My husband eats some but I consume most . Many years part of my staple diet. Taste SO yum.

I have been buying the unsulphured Blenheim apricots in the 8 pound box for quite a few years now and they have a much better flavor than Turkish apricots. They don't give me headaches like sulphured fruits do and they keep very well in my refrigerator.

Outstanding Product

My number One favorite food is dried apricots--not any dried apricots. It has to be unsulphured, Blenheim dried apricots. For many years, I was able to purchase them from Trader Joe's. For whatever reason, Trader Joe's no longer carries unsulphured, Blenheim dried apricots.
Recently I purchased 8 lbs from the ApricotKing. I am delighted with them. They are pricey but delicious! -

I love these apricots but this time they were too dry and tough.

Finest apricots available

if you love apricots, these are the best you can buy. Formerly available at Trader Joe's, they've been replaced by an inferior Turkish import. I actually use them in a savory Moroccan lamb recipe I prepare occasionally. I'm grateful I found these locally - thank heaven for Apricot King for a taste of heaven on earth!
