About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Apricot Leathers 14 oz
2024 Crop
The wildly popular and fabulously sweet leathers are what the old timers request.
This is fruit done the "old fashioned" way - overripe fruit pulled off the tray, lightly rinsed and very, very sun-dried.
They are intensely flavored, tough/dry, & sweet.
No water weight; just the fruit ........it's fight to the finish on these spectacular leathers.
14 oz bags
If you like your cots soft and tender, order our slabs.
Leather are labor intensive, difficult to clean and hand-pack.
Leathers are always the first product we run out of each season.

WOW!
Posted by Daniel on Oct 2nd 2019
So delicious and full of concentrated apricot flavor. These are better than the best apricot leather, and without any added sugars or other ingredients. Naturally sweet (tempered with a little tartness) and complex. Eat and savor them slowly. I keep them in the refrigerator, but they are the most flavorful at room temperature. I carry some in my jersey pockets on an afternoon of cycling for some quick (and tasty) natural energy.

Just Like Old Times
Posted by Thomas Sullivan on Nov 15th 2018
When I was a kid, we had several old apricot trees in Santa Clara Valley. We would sulfur then dry the apricots on trays placed on the roof. The Apricot King leathers remind of those apricots. Yum!
