Here's our dilemma: Our 2024 crop brought us huge fruit.
It's really too big of fruit to call it fancy.....
It is really more of a spectacular almost Extra-fancy -Jumbo apricot.
And we hate to part with these beauties.
But if it's going to a good home......we'll sell it in an 10 lb bulk box.
This fruit is larger, sweeter, deeper in color, and more succulent.
We're offering our Fancy Blenheims in the bulk until supply runs out.
This is the fruit we use in our gift packages and for chocolate dipping......
Remember Fancy Blenheims can be refrigerated for a year....frozen for an eternity.

Good substitute for Slabs
I usually get the Slabs in bulk but the bulk was not available for that this time around. So I got the Bulk Fancy instead. They are actually better than I expected.

The best dried apricots ever! Jam is also the best!
These Blenheim apricots are the same kind we had in the foothills of Palo Alto where I grew up in the 1960's. Drying them each year and having a huge bag in the freezer to eat throughout the year was such a treat. Not to mention all the additional ways we ate the fresh ones (cobbler, pies, jam). Such a treat. After my sister discovered Apricot King, I am able to enjoy the incredible tastes from the past with their dried bulk apricots, as well as their amazing jam. I can't thank the Gonzales family enough for their work maintain and sell these precious apricots. We are so fortunate that they have chosen to provide us with these gems.

I grew up drying apricots on the roof of our house from very old trees in our yard. ApricotKing's apricots are delicious too. I just made a batch of brownies and added chopped up dried apricots to the mix. Yum!

Wonderful Apricots
Love these dried apricots. They are so good. I froze mine into 1 lb packages and have a few each week. Soon I’ll make an old recipe for fruit turnovers. I can’t wait!

Perfect as always
I carry these on hikes, ski tours, and when traveling for work in my carry on luggage. I also grab a few passing through the kitchen when I just need a little snack. I never get tired of ApricotKing.

Turkish apricots will not do for my mother's fruit cake. Well, it's called a fruit cake but it's more like a loaf of fruit as there is no cake. Her old standby at the store went cheap but for the same price with Turkish apricots, this will not do! So off to the magic of the internet to find California Apricots for this year's fruit cakes for home, friends, and family. The Apricot King had not only what she wanted but what was not used of the 7 pounds will last a while in the freezer. She was ecstatic to be able to get these and at the quality. Plus a nice handwritten note from the owner.
