About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! These are our large Bartlett Pears, cut in half, sun dried, low sulphur, moist, tender, and sweet.
Caution: Pears contain more fiber than prunes.....four grams of fiber in each pear.

My favorite afternoon snack is Constant Comment decaf tea, two dried pear halves, and a shortbread cookie or almond biscotti. I love fresh pears, but most of the year the supermarket fruit is too hard to ever ripen, or mealy. Dried pears are great year round. I found Apricot King pears decades ago, after my local supermarket stopped carrying dried ones. These are superb! Try simmering them in pear nectar, then pureeing, to make a jar of pear jam.

Up till now I have only ordered your amazing apricots, but I needed some dried pears for a recipe so I ordered a bag. What a revelation!, so delicious, perfect texture, they even are fragrant. Immediately ordered a big box of them cuz I do NOT want to run out of these delicious pears! Thank you for providing uniquely excellent quality dried fruits that can’t be found elsewhere, and that take me back to my (long ago!) childhood with every morsel. So grateful!!!!

These are absolutely luxurious. Beautiful pear flavor with an almost vanilla aftertaste. Delicious, tender, sweet. I hide the from the kids (under the field greens in the fridge!!).
