They are pitted & sun- dried minus the sulfur dioxide.
Our cherries are very popular as the have no added sugar and are high in antioxidants.
Cherries are also an excellent source of both fiber and potassium.
These are dark, black almost, & contain calcium and iron too!
Always best to keep these cherries refrigerated or frozen.

Cherries to savor.
The dried cherries are great in cookies and baked good and you can also use them in sauces or just eat them. I have a couple of cookie recipes where they really shine. So happy to have discovered them.

The 2019 cherry crop was outstanding this year. The dried cherries are plump and sweet. I bought 8 pounds of them this year from the Gonzales family.

Cherry Feast!!
I had a most excellent salad in Rochester, MN, and where I thought I would find the usual dried cranberries, there were dried cherries in their stead. I vowed to make it for guests (and myself) but dried cherries are relatively hard to find. I was so excited to see them at ApricotKing. I knew the quality would be exceptional, and I was right. Although I don't have the exact recipe, the salad contained baby lettuces, dried cherries, sugared walnuts (also available at ApricotKing, which is where I got them), buttermilk dressing and crumbled blue cheese. Thank you, Pescara restaurant for creating this wonderful salad.!

These are great eaten by the handful, in salads, in baking and really good in homemade protein bars.
