About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Fancy Orchard Blend
All Blenheims - All sun dried - All soft and moist.
Everyone's favorite "Home Grown In The Flavor Zone" dried Blenheim apricots.
This is labeled Orchard Blend, a combination of our smaller choice and extra choice Blenheims.
But in truth, we've run out of our Orchard Blend (smaller apricots) So, these are truly larger, better tasting apricots, called the fancy Blend.
Great good-eating apricots, high in iron and potassium.
Preserved with a low amount of sulphur dioxide.
We kept the price the same, but are giving you better tastier apricots than our usual orchard blend.

Great Apricots bring Great Childhood Memories!
Posted by Unknown on Jan 28th 2023
I grew up in Los Altos, CA and we had apricot trees in our yard & orchards were everywhere! We had our trees pruned and apricots died by a very elderly man who lived a few houses away. We would store the cots in our freezer and eat them all the time.
Finding the ApricotKing to buy apricots from brings me joy & wonderful memories, as I now live in Tennessee where these are not available.
Please continue growing and selling your fabulous apricots as the world would not be the same without them!
Thank you kindly,

Real apricot flavor, the right moisture level to make it a California taste treat and superior to imported apricots.

Best Rays of Sunshine
Posted by Mrs, Joe Borovich, Bonnie on Nov 24th 2022
My Borovich family has enjoyed your blissfully wonderful cots for years. George, Mildred, sister Mary Eleanor, Lucy. All born and raised in Hollister. Now the Borovich grandchildren and great grandchildren are still enjoying them. Boil 1/2 cup water, few tablespoons of sugar, snip cots in half, bring to boil then on low for a few moments. Then I use one premade pie shell and put the cots on one side. Fold shell over the cots and flute pinch pie shell around. Sprinkle sugar over top, ( for looks) bake 425 until golden brown. Daughter wants that tort for birthday every year instead of a cake. Very easy and fast. Thank you guys for keeping the standard of excellence with what you do. Thank you from all the Borovich’s.
