We keep all our fruit low in sulphur dioxide.

That's why we urge you to refrigerate all your dried fruit within 6 months.

These are not thin like our our slabs.

They are halves and are thick and chewy!

They're actually darker in color this year.

Packed in our 3 mil resealable bags for freshness.

    Nectarine First Timer

Posted by Mike in Tucson on Sep 23rd 2021

I tried dried nectarines for the first time. These are fleshy fruits that must take a while to dry. The longer they sit in the sun the more sulfur must be used to keep them from spoiling. DISCLOSURE- I am VERY sensitive to the taste of sulfur! The nectarines from The King are moist and fleshy and tasty, but the pale in comparison to the apricot slabs because of the sulfur taste. I think The King should consider slicing the fresh nectarines before drying so that less sulfur is required in the process. More work, more expensive, probably a superior product.

Ok, who needs cake when you can enjoy these dried nectarines! Total 'yum', sweet and meaty, large nectarine halves that will leave you wondering how the unsulfured nectarines taste like! These are DELICIOUS!

these nectarines are a beautiful color, soft, very moist - and more reliably delicious than what I can get fresh

    SO GOOD

Posted by Unknown on May 13th 2020

Nectaries are my favorite fruit and I miss them when they aren't in season... not anymore! I love the thick cut and the fact they aren't dried into leather. Awesome!

Apricotking is well named as their fruit is the best I can find year after year.
