About ApricotKing

Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts.  Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Dried Nectarines 10 oz

Low in sulphur. Expect these to be thick & chewy! Packed in our resealable bags for freshness.

Keep all dried fruit and nuts in the refrigerator.   These are low in sulphur and will darken as the sulphur dissipates.

10 oz bags

Personally.......not the CotQueen's favorite....but we sell lots of these.

  2. Wonderful Dried Nectarines, Full of Flavor and Moisture

Posted by Tricia Ridgeway on May 28th 2023

These are some of the best dried nectarines I've ever encountered. When I was a young child, my grandfather traveled every summer from South Texas to Watsonville, CA, to visit both his daughter and youngest son. Each year, he shipped a large but empty black trunk with him on the train. And when he returned, the trunk was full of California dried fruits, each kind layered between stretches of wax paper. Always, the prunes were on the bottom, and then layers of dried peaches, nectarines, and pears. Finally, there was a deep layer of dried apricots, so tart and tasty. I've ordered dried fruit from several other sources before, and finally I discovered your fruits, the very best. Thanks!

Love these nectarines! Best dried fruit company, so sweet and tasty. I give them as gifts and tell my friends and family about how great they are.

Sweet, tangy, tasty beauties, lots of flavor! Chopped some to top a cake and provided outstanding taste to a simple cake!!!

  5. Too good!

Posted by Sandra on Apr 17th 2022

Total flavor and 'meaty' goodness! Love these frozen...sliced or diced over ice cream or sherbet...yum. Great out of the bag for a tangy treat! Or even out of the bag in th freezer!!! Did a charcuterie tray with cold cuts, cheese, grapes and these flew off the board!

  6. So Good!

Ate them quickly--sooo good they didn't last long!

  7. Wow! Tasty is the word.

Posted by Sandra on Dec 27th 2021

Wonderfully meaty peach halves, generous size and perfect for snacks, chopped insalads, baking...and just enjoying. It's suggested to keep them in the fridge or even freezer..they almost don't make it there! But I did recently freeze a bag and brought it out to refill the snack stack and found an even better way to enjoy them 'frozen'! An 'ice cream' treat of full flavor. Have to limit our servings or we will be pounds heavier in no time!

  8. Best ever flavor

OK, does 'luscious' get any better? Love these large, wonderful dried nectarines so meaty and sweet. Consistently great quality at ApricotKing!

  9. Nectarine First Timer

Posted by Mike in Tucson on Sep 23rd 2021

I tried dried nectarines for the first time. These are fleshy fruits that must take a while to dry. The longer they sit in the sun the more sulfur must be used to keep them from spoiling. DISCLOSURE- I am VERY sensitive to the taste of sulfur! The nectarines from The King are moist and fleshy and tasty, but the pale in comparison to the apricot slabs because of the sulfur taste. I think The King should consider slicing the fresh nectarines before drying so that less sulfur is required in the process. More work, more expensive, probably a superior product.

  10. OH OH! New found pleasure!

Posted by Sandra on Aug 29th 2021

Ok, who needs cake when you can enjoy these dried nectarines! Total 'yum', sweet and meaty, large nectarine halves that will leave you wondering how the unsulfured nectarines taste like! These are DELICIOUS!
