    The best dried apricots

Posted by Taryn on Jul 7th 2022

My parents grew up in Stanislaus County, so I grew up knowing what a good dried apricot is. It's really hard to find them on the east coast! Finally, after all these years, I decided to just order from California. These are the BEST, the price is incredible, and I love that you guys also have dried mango, which my kids also love. Ordering apricots from here makes us all happy. Thank you!

    BEST dried apricots!

Posted by Paula on Jul 3rd 2022

I’m a repeat customer here because these are the BEST TASTING apricots anywhere! A real explosion of sweet tart flavor with a perfect semi moist tender mouth feel, they are perfect for snacking and dessert. For car snacks on the road they pair perfectly with almonds, walnuts, and pecans. For use in cooking they are great in muffins, cookies, and quick breads. Once you’ve tried these, you may never go back to using dried apricots of the Mediterranean or Turkey origin/type. Those other guys can look pretty, but they are just sweet without any real flavor.

These fancy blenheim dried apricots are the best I've ever eaten. I just found out that dried apricots are a good source of iron! That's my excuse for pigging out on them....

    The best dried apricots

Posted by Alan Amerian on Jun 19th 2022

The Gonzales family grows and produces the best dried apricots. For those of you who haven't tried them, it doesn't get any better than this. There's no comparison between the commercially available dried apricots at the grocery store and the Hollister grown Blenheim variety apricots the Gonzales farm grows. You may be paying slightly more for their dried apricots but the flavor is ten times better than the others, especially the flavorless imports from Turkey.

If you like your apricots with the flavor of fresh fruit and the chewy texture of dried then these Blenheim's are for you. Have never had any better dried apricots.

APRICOT KOLACHES MADE WITH APRICOT KING APRICOTS - nothing better!

Posted by Barbara on Jun 16th 2022

My Mother, who passed away 29 years ago, was of Czech descent and made the most wonderful apricot kolaches. She always said to use Calif. dried apricot for the cooked filling. In the last years, Calif. dried apricots have not been available in any grocery store in our city. BUT, I discovered ApricotKing and I'm able to make my Mother's kolache recipe. Apricot King apricots are better than anything we were ever able to get at the grocer's. THANK YOU ApricotKing for continuing to grow and sell the best dried apricots ever.

These are done to perfection. Very tasty. 1 bag is already gone. Thinking of making some Apricot Butter with the other.

    Fantastic apricots (and inexpensive)!

Posted by Patrick Henderson on May 23rd 2022

I always like to have ApricotKing dried apricots on hand (they are the best on the market, by far). The 2.5lb bag is the best deal and typically lasts about a week at my home. The fruit is sweet and delicious and I'm sure to always have a bag or two (or four) backup in the freezer. Freezing works well and the fruit retains it's texture and flavor.
