About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Very few Blenheims grow this large & flawless.
ApricotKing selects the fullest & ripest cot to be SLIPPITS
The entire apricot is dried in the sun.
This gives slippies a deeper flavor ..... like in the old days when people canned and put a pit in the jar for flavor.
That's a real thing, the pit itself has a flavor.
The pits are slipped out (by hand -each-and-every-single-one),
washed, re-dried, & there you have it............... 10 lbs bulk

I’ve been eating ApricotKing cots since I first discovered them back early 2000’s…only brand I would ever buy since, but now I’ve become hooked to just slip pits…that’s why I appreciate the bulk buy offers with their discounts. I find that the Apricot Kings slip pits are the absolute “King” over all other brands on the market!

Patti fixed the problem and then gave me a huge discount on my next order. I wouldn't buy this stuff anywhere else. If you like slabs, you'll love slippits.

Sweet, tender, delicious and beautiful! Our whole family loves these apricots. We bought 2 pounds of these at the farmers market and finished them in a week so we knew that a 7lb box would be perfect.

It so wonderful when you look forward to receiving great dried apricots and upon their arrival you are not disappointed! These are the most succulent dried apricots ever! The low sugar jam I have had to hide since it has become a favorite in this house!

The slip-pit Blenheims are SO wonderful! My understanding is that this variety doesn't travel well, so I can't get fresh ones in New England. My afternoon treat is two slip-pits, a shortbread cookie, and a mug of Constant Comment tea. Placing my annual bulk order feels like an extravagance, but since the fresh apricots available here, which are always disappointing, are $3/#, when you consider the water weight differential, these are reasonably priced. They are so tender and moist that you could ALMOST spread one on a bagel or toast. Drying with the pit included adds an amaretto-like finish to the apricots. I've raved about them on foodie websites Chowhound and Hungry Onion, and am happy to have made some ApricotKing converts among readers.

These are as good as they get . I grew up in the Santa Clara valley back in the 50' and 60's and you could get these local but not any more. Excellent service also.
