The Santa Clara Valley, known as the Valley of the Heart's Delight, produced the best fruit in the world.

ApricotKing grows the French Prunes from that same area.

The result is big, thick, moist, velvety French Prunes.

They are pitted & delicious.

Prunes are high in fiber and potassium!

We have never tasted a better prune.

    exceptionally tasty

I bought the prunes because it was my first order with the Apricot King - I wanted to try a variety of dried fruits. They are distinctly different and better than supermarket prunes bought in a box. If you like the apricots, you will definitely enjoy the prunes as well.

Like the best fresh plum but even better..

These prunes have a beautiful and rich texture. The taste is that of a concentrated ripe plum that was just picked off the vine. Great vitamins and nutrients found here.

    The hits continue

First time I bought them as I am a long-term cot buyer. They are every bit as special as the cots. Do yourself a favor and add them to your order!

These are so big and they have lots of meat inside. They are so good.

    Yum!

These are consistently good. It's easy to pop in one right after another! So flavorful and moist. Soft chewy goodness.

    Best Prunes I've ever had

Posted by ApricotKing Fanatic in Mountain View on Sep 12th 2020

There are a few other good prunes I've bought in the Bay Area, but my sources have all dried up (that's right: prune pun!) But these are simply the best, thank you for making these available.

Never thought I would be reviewing prunes...

Posted by Unknown on Aug 5th 2020

This is the first time i have bought the prunes. When I smelled them, I thought they had a slightly wine smell to them. Wasn't sure if i would like them. I rinsed them off (an old habit I can't seem t stop), didn't see anything in the rinse water, yay! Then I tasted them. Lovely taste, and texture!!! Yippee! Never thought I'd be telling anyone that they are so much better than the ones I grew up with..... the supermarket ones,..... Don't know if they are a different variety, but by the way they taste, i would say, they have to be different. They should call them dried plums, for 2 reasons. Can't believe it, but some people think plums and prunes are different things, and, the old idea that a prune is ugly and not tasty certainly has nothing to do with these fruits.

These are the most moist flavorful prunes I have ever encountered. I will keep some in my pantry.
