I grew up in Palo Alto and every summer we would go to an orchard an cut and Dry Blenheim and then eat them for the rest of the year. The super ripe were the Slippits.I wasn’t aware of the name then. Great childhood memoriesThank you Apricot King/Queen

The SlipPits are great, very beautiful, too. Have to restrain urge to gobble up huge amounts all at once. Also really like Extra Fancy. Intense apricot flavor in both.

Slip-pit Blenheims are the best.
I've ordered form ApricotKing a few times over the past half-dozen years. Order is filled quickly and arrives VERY fast. And ALL the items I've ordered over time have been outstanding. Most recently I've ordered some of their SlipPit Blenheim apricots. Wow! You haven't ever had a dried apricot until you've had a whole/slippit Apricot. Sweet - but with a terrific tart finish (I kid you not - the language of wine comes handy for these humble dried fruits). Great chew - but soft. Conventional dried apricots aren't even in the same general area when it comes to these Kings of the orchard. They're a splurge, but super worth it!

There are no apricots like these anywhere in the world. The unusual processing produces an excellent quality of dried apricots.

Excellent Dried Apricots!
I used to order from sunsweet since my family was at one point in business with them when we had an orchard that produced fruits and nuts that needed to be dried/packaged for sale. Since that ended the best place I've found for dried apricots is Apricot King. Their fruit is top notch and tastes how I think it should. I also enjoy their dried pears!
