I bought my first bag of pears for a recipe but then did not use them, forgot them, then opened them to try for a snack and WOW! They are AMAZING. So amazing that I ordered them, plus other fruit and nuts, to my parents for xmas! My mom (87) and dad (96) loved them! She wrote: Whoo eeeee, these dried fruits are a smashing success! Right now I'm chewing a prune with a pecan, and it's ambrosia. I've left them out on "Paul's counter" usually full of cookies, and he's devouring them. So we'd like to buy more. Are they sold in Texas? (I gave her the website!)

You really can't call these bartlett pears dried. They have a velvety texture. I ordered one package along with some apricots. I immediately ordered 4 more. Keep these beauties in the refrigerator. They are great on their own or on a cheese plate.

These pears are so soft and moist with a delicious flavor. I have to pace myself to avoid just gobbling them all down. These are very high quality and I can't wait to enjoy them on my morning oatmeal with a little crystalized ginger. Apricot King has the best products and they are well worth the price.
