About ApricotKing

Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts.  Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Enjoy!

Raw California Almonds 15 oz

They're just great almonds.....

This year's crop of almonds was less abundant than in previous years, but very smooth and fresh.

All California almonds by law are pasturized......so don't ask for them unpasteurized......

Our almonds go through a quick  steam pasteurization and are crunchy and sweet-tasty.

They are considered  raw.  Not roasted, toasted,  flavored, candied, or  salted. Keep refrigerated.

  1. Homesick for California!

Posted by Leslie on Dec 14th 2020

East coast store bought almonds, what can I say--usually somehow soft and flavorless. Here is the opposite--crisp, like a fresh apple, but dry with a subtle but wonderful flavor. Real value because the quality is there.

  2. Go-to snack

Posted by Susie Fasanaro on Dec 6th 2020

Nothing better than a handful of these almonds to get me through that late morning hunger lull. Apricot King's almonds are always perfect!
    Truly the best snack ever!

  3. Excellent

I eat a handful of these several times a day as a high protein snack that satisfies.

  4. I grab a handful of these everyday!

Posted by Unknown on Sep 20th 2020

    I love these!

  5. Internationally Famous

Posted by Ro on Jul 27th 2020

    One word summary : Unparalleled

My parents in India always ask me to bring a bag of these and they've tasted these against the best of what they have and this hands down beats every other walnut that our family has tasted in two countries.

  6. Love!

I eat a handful of these almonds all day long. The protein and fiber keep my sugar level consistent.

  7. Fresh and flavorful

Posted by Michele G. on Jun 28th 2020

ApricotKing offered 10% off so I threw caution to the wind. I ordered Fancy Apricots, 8# of walnuts, prunes, almonds and Apricot hot pepper sauce. I haven’t tried the sauce yet but everything else was outstanding. I will order again.

  8. Absolutely delicious!

Posted by Marlo C. on Jun 27th 2020

These almonds are delicious. I leave them on the counter and snack on them all the time. It is just so great to be able to get fresh nuts from a local farming family. I am a big fan of farming families (my family was one of them), so I’m glad to have found them. Receiving your order is just a way more personal experience and much better quality than any “regular” store can provide.

  9. Fabulous Almonds

Posted by Patty Evans on May 18th 2020

If you have not tried these almonds, you are missing something. I like to toast them and eat them whole or grind them up and toss on hot oatmeal or French toast with marmalade. I put them in a stainless steel frying pan and heat them slowly to prevent burning. Once they have a darkened brownish patina, their taste is wonderfully enhanced. I also use them raw by grinding into almond meal for making cookies.

  10. Love these almonds!

Delicious, sweet, and flavorful. My order showed up really quickly too. Great experience all the way around.
