This year's crop of almonds was less abundant than in previous years, but fresh.
All California almonds by law are pasturized......People question this all the time......so for the record:
Our almonds go through a quick steam pasteurization and are crunchy and sweet-tasty.
They are considered raw.
Not roasted, toasted, flavored, candied, or salted.
Keep refrigerated.
We've reduced by $2 the price of the bag on 15 oz almonds.

Closest thing to fresh almond flavor, unless you have a tree of your own!
I grew up in California and our neighbor had an almond tree along our fence line. These almonds are the closest flavor I've found to fresh off the tree. I believe California mandates pasteurization of all almonds before selling. ApricotKing must be doing it right because these nuts retain that fresh, raw flavor. The two pound bag is the best bargain!

East coast store bought almonds, what can I say--usually somehow soft and flavorless. Here is the opposite--crisp, like a fresh apple, but dry with a subtle but wonderful flavor. Real value because the quality is there.

Fresh and flavorful
ApricotKing offered 10% off so I threw caution to the wind. I ordered Fancy Apricots, 8# of walnuts, prunes, almonds and Apricot hot pepper sauce. I haven’t tried the sauce yet but everything else was outstanding. I will order again.
