About ApricotKing

Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts.  Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Red Walnuts Livermore Variety

This is a very unique  walnut......it is red.....the meats are white.....it has to be hand-cracked (the machine cracker will pulverize them).

Red Walnuts were developed  at UC Davis.

Currently there  are less than 2,000 Livermore (Red) Walnut trees planted in the state.

We have  17 that just started to produce after seven years of babying them.

The taste is great, the look is unique, and we keep them in-shell until we fill your order.

We'll  pack 'em tightly and get them to you in good shape.

Always store walnuts in the refrigerator, never the freezer.  12 oz  Stand up clear bag.

Weather was not a friend to our Red Walnuts this season. Red walnuts are Scarce this year get them while you can...….

Product Reviews

  1. Always a treat!

Posted by Dale on May 17th 2021

I was on the site and I saw the red walnuts were available.....a happy surprise so I grabbed three bags. I only seem to catch them every other year or so but they are yummy all the time. Great for baking, cooking (I throw walnuts into soups and stews all the time especially) and snacking.

  2. Tasty and colorful
