About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Unsulphured Dried Blenheim Apricots 16 oz bags
Our unsulphured Blenheim apricots are organically grown and dried naturally in the sun.
They are cut in half and dried for 8-10 days, then washed, and dried again.
This year's unsulphured are the best we've ever done....magnificently rich in color and flavor.
They need to be refrigerated. They will hold in the freezer for over a year.
They are very dry......but you can add some water and moisten them right on up.

Love these

Best dried apricots I've had. I found this site after Trader Joe's stopped selling unsulphured Blenheim apricots, and I keep buying more because they're sooo good.

Chewy and flavorful!
Posted by Sandra on Aug 31st 2020
As an apricot fan found unsulfured apricots provide all of the taste. They don't last long around me and great for cooking too. Use them in some soups and love the bright flavor they add to the dish.

Delicious!

These are like candy. I have a handful every morning, and then have to make myself put them back so I'll have some for the next day.

Blenheims are King
Posted by Julie on Aug 20th 2020
If you’ve never tasted a dried Blenheim apricot, you haven’t lived. The complex and concentrated tangy sweet flavor is unmatched; plain, paired with dark chocolate or soft goat cheese, they are a decadent treat. Apricot King is the best in the business. You can count on a superior product every time. Sulfur free is a great option for those of us sensitive to this preservative. Thank you Apricot King!

The BEST apricots anywhere!
Posted by A Montana Family on Aug 18th 2020
We have eaten Apricot King's unsulfured apricots for years and they are the absolute BEST tasting apricots we've ever had. There is no other company that comes close to matching them on flavor.

Sweet and flavorful!
Posted by Unknown on Aug 15th 2020
These apricots are the ones I remember getting from a local food co-op back in the 70s, but haven't seen much of since. They are so delicious; all other apricots are tasteless in comparison. People might be put off because they are not that jolly, orange color of sulfured apricots, but I like these much better!

Best unsulfered apricots I've ever had
Posted by S. Belsky on Aug 15th 2020
The headline says it all. I only eat unsulfered dried apricots and I've had them from several vendors. Regrettably, dried Blenheims are not widely available. The ones I purchased from Apricot King are the best I've ever had. They are sweet and dried to perfection. I will be buying them again!
