They are light halves & pieces, Chandler variety, clean, blond-colored, and
have a wonderful "no-bite" buttery flavor. 12 oz 1.75 lbs
The secret to good walnuts is to keep them refrigerated.
They will hold in the refrigerator (never the freezer) for a year.
New studies show people who eat nuts every day live longer, are healthier, and slimmer than those who don't eat nuts much or at all.

**Our walnuts were certified organic until 2005...we've not changed our farming practices, just quit the certifying and paperwork fees that go with organic walnuts.

Wonderful walnuts
There is no comparison to these walnuts. When I moved and could no longer get them at the Farmer's Market, I tried ones from the grocery store and some from Costco. Once you have roasted and tasted the walnuts from Apricot King, you can never go back. I discovered them online and now I am very happy again. The thing is you don't know there is a difference until you eat them. When I was visiting my girlfriend in Baltimore, MD and wanted to toast some walnuts to break up and put on my beans or Ezekial cereal, she gave me the typical Diamond brand found in Safeway that she uses for her baking. No matter how I roasted them, they had absolutely no taste. It was just awful. When she visited me, I gave her some AK toasted walnuts and she was shocked by the difference. You will like these walnuts.

Very rich and consistent taste
This is my second purchase, and this time I bought the big bag, because these are wonderful walnuts - no hint of that bitterness that walnuts sometimes have, and every one in my first batch was perfect. I've been buying walnuts in bulk at my local natural foods store, which are better than many packaged ones, but they vary in quality and taste from batch to batch. These are divine, and totally worth the extra effort and the shipping cost. Life is short - why not buy the best!

I live in New York and have been disappointed in the walnuts I’ve been buying. I’m not sure where they come from. I love apricots, so while on the apricot king website i saw that you also sell walnuts. I bought a bag and they are delicious. I’ve already purchased another three bags. I love the apricots as well. I am now a loyal customer.
