They are light halves & pieces, Chandler variety, clean, blond-colored, and
have a wonderful "no-bite" buttery flavor. 12 oz 1.75 lbs
The secret to good walnuts is to keep them refrigerated.
They will hold in the refrigerator (never the freezer) for a year.
New studies show people who eat nuts every day live longer, are healthier, and slimmer than those who don't eat nuts much or at all.
With that said, here's a little more help to really enjoy these heart-healthy goodies as we have the best premium walnuts around!!
**Our walnuts were certified organic until 2005...we've not changed our farming practices, just quit the certifying and paperwork fees that go with organic walnuts.

Great walnuts!
The walnuts from ApricotKing are better than anything you’ll find in the grocery store. They are tender and not at all bitter like some. I eat them out of hand and also use them in homemade granola. Perfect ingredient!

Woohoo! The best walnuts ever!
Since 1969, I have made sugared walnuts for the holidays. In 1991, I moved to Mountain View and found Patti and Gary’s walnuts at the farmers market, and have been buying them ever since. There is no going back! These walnuts are swoonalicious - the best I have ever found — I use them mostly in the sugared walnuts and in the Ina Garten (“Barefoot Contessa”) Outrageous Brownies, for eating out of hand, and in fruit salads. Smooth, smooth flavor - none of the “bite” I experienced in walnuts before I found these.

I ordered these every year. They are always fresh with deep walnutty flavor. Nice unbroken halves, so they look great too.

Great. Quality
I gave a bag of the walnut halves to a friend who is very picky about the quality of ingredients he cooks with. He tasted the walnuts and then threw out the bag he bought at the supermarket. I just gave him another bag and he was delighted. So fresh and with a great flavor and texture.

Mild flavored with good crunch. I wonder if the bitter component of most walnuts (not these) is the reason some people are allergic to them?
