Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. Walnuts
Shaken off the trees in November, Cracked in December..........
They are truly the best walnuts you'll ever eat! (Everyone says they'll never eat the store bought ones again)
They are light halves, Chandler variety, clean, blond-colored, and
have a wonderful "no-bite" buttery flavor. 12 oz 2 lbs
The secret to good walnuts is to keep them refrigerated.
They will hold in the refrigerator (never the freezer) for a year.
New studies show people who eat nuts every day live longer, are healthier, and slimmer than those who don't eat nuts much or at all.
With that said, here's a little more help to really enjoy these heart-healthy goodies as we have the best premium walnuts around!!
**Our walnuts were certified organic until 2005...we've not changed our farming practices, just quit the certifying and paperwork fees that go with organic walnuts.

Great flavor. I enjoyed just snacking on them since I don't do a lot of baking. I also added pieces to my morning oatmeal to add some crunch.

Several years back we found these available at a local farmers market, and tried them.
We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor.
We tried several other local sources, and none compare.
They have been a staple in our house ever since.

I just received my delivery of the 2020 crop. I haven't gotten into them yet but I know they will be good because I order every year and I am never disappointed, and always thrilled with the quality. The rancid small and expensive bags of walnuts in the conventional grocery store are disgusting. I saline soak my walnuts and then dehydrate them at a low temp (~110 degrees) for 24 hours. The results are perfect, crisp and slightly salty, leaving the natural digestive enzymes in tact as well as removing phytates that may otherwise upset my stomach, as raw nuts can sometimes do.
